A Hidden Underground World

Amidst the hustle and bustle of underground commuting lies a rich tapestry of diverse individuals and their busy lives.

London commuters fill a busy tube train on a cold December day. Little to no words are exchanged as the hold the digital world has on us ensures most people are fully absorbed in the screens of their mobile devices.

As a photographer my instinct is to walk, but that would be to miss out on a whole other world, as hidden beneath London’s streets is a fascinating and often overlooked realm that contains a vast array of diverse experiences and interactions. From the early morning rush to the late night journey home, the underground serves as a microcosm of society, reflecting the various facets of human life.
